UFPJ Calls for Local Actions on 4th Anniversary of the War in Iraq March 19th will mark the 4th anniversary of the U.S. military assault on Iraq and the beginning of what has turned into one of this nation’s longest military engagements. Four years of war and occupation; four years of death and destruction; four years of a war that never should have happened. United for Peace and Justice is calling for a massive outpouring of opposition to the war in locally based, decentralized actions throughout the U.S. from Saturday, March 17th, through Monday, March 19th.
