my eating local dinner was very simple but delicious. With the temperatures in the 100s+ for a week now, a simple dinner was crucial. I picked up these lamb sausage links at the organic meat counter, found the tomatoes at a local farm and the cucumbers are from my garden.

Last night I was changing the format of this blog and suddenly all of the posts disappeared. Poof, gone! They came back on then off, doing this all day today. Now I have my sidebar all messed up and not sure how to bring it back up where it belongs.
What a mess.
Today was another scorcher like yesterday…102 and humid! I don’t think anyone fell asleep last night until the wee hours of the morning and I don’t see it any better tonight. We haven’t seen heat like this in sometime. My tomatoes love it so it will be worth it in a few weeks when I see those red beauties waiting to be picked.
My friend L is having a garage sale Fri/Sat and I said I would contribute so my goal for the week is to get this place cleaned out of unnecessary/unwanted “stuff”.
I had a great “local” dinner tonight and will post it tomorrow. The market today was brimming with local eats……love love love this time of year just for this reason!
